Job Summary
Supervise medical providers and report to the Chief Medical Officer while overseeing annual professional practice evaluations and primary care standards aligned with New York State Department of Health Article 28 and HEDIS metrics. Manage medical staff appointments, monitor clinical programs and transfer agreements, and collaborate with the emergency preparedness committee on disaster planning and patient complaint responses. Ensure adequate clinical coverage through the Medical Staff Coordinator and maintain a patient panel with a minimum of five clinical sessions. Comply with privacy and security policies regarding PHI and HIPAA training.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of LCME School of Medicine
- A graduate of ACGME accredited residency
- Licensed to practice in the State of New York
- Board Certified in their respective field of practice
- In good legal, moral and ethical standing
- Has at least five years' experience post board certification
- Meets the criteria for active medical staff membership
- Possesses the requisite administrative competence for the position
- Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication and collaborative skills
- Advanced computer skills in a variety of applications
- Language proficiency in one of the target languages of the organization
