Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of patient care services at Spectra Health while providing direct clinical care for at least 50% of the time. Lead the quality improvement program and peer review process, supervise clinic providers and directors in primary care and chiropractic settings, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and licensing agencies. Collaborate with the integrated health care team to define clinic performance, monitor productivity, and implement clinical services based on needs assessments. Act as a liaison between the organization and the health care community, champion organizational values, and support change initiatives through independent decision-making focused on patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified APRN, MD or PA with valid licenses in jurisdiction of the clinic
- Graduate of an accredited medical school or nurse practitioner program
- Minimum of three (3) years of practice experience with clinical management experience
- Prior experience working with diverse population groups
- Strong leadership skills with a clear vision in leading clinical teams
- Ability to sit for long periods of time at a desk or workstation
- Long periods of time on one's feet, standing and moving throughout the clinical environment
- Ability to lift or carry items that would be appropriate in an office environment, not more than 20 pounds
- Hearing, speech and sight, including ability to identify and distinguish colors
Desired Qualifications
- For APRN: Doctoral degree in nursing or related field
- Experience working in an FQHC and/or an integrated behavioral health care setting
