Medical Director

Coordinate and oversee all medical care and quality of services at the center level, delivering direct patient care within the clinic scope of practice. Provide leadership for cost management, utilization review, and quality assurance while supervising risk coding and HEDIS metric completion. Develop and review clinical policies, guidelines, and protocols; plan, assign, and appraise provider performance. Manage recruitment for medical providers and staff, oversee peer review, and guide continuing education and orientation for new medical staff. Address emergency issues, handle provider behavior and impairment matters, and lead physician governance committees for medical records, infection control, and adverse events. Maintain OSHA, ACHA, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance. Requires an MD or DO degree, unrestricted state license, board certification in primary care, and experience with multicultural patient populations. Travel occasionally to clinics and corporate meetings.
