Job Summary
Serve as Global or Regional Medical Advisor on assigned clinical trials, providing scientific guidance to Project Leaders and support to investigative sites on protocol issues, patient eligibility, and safety. Perform medical reviews of protocols, Investigative Drug Brochures, Case Report Forms, Clinical Study Reports, and adverse event documentation, including Serious Adverse Events and coding. Deliver therapeutic area training, present at investigator meetings and kick-off sessions, and advise on medically sound delivery strategies for complex multi-region studies. Collaborate with business development on proposal reviews, budget planning, and bid defenses while maintaining awareness of the competitive landscape. Available 24/7 for urgent protocol questions in accordance with local labor laws, with periodic regional and international travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited and internationally recognized medical school
- Curriculum relevant to general medical education
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in clinical medicine
- Specialty board certification
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good command of English language (both written and spoken)
- Robust and current knowledge of scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial and competitive landscape in applicable therapeutic area
- Proven skills in providing consultation and advice on multiple assignments
- Initiative and flexibility
- Requires periodic regional and international travel
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years clinical trials experience as an investigator or medical /clinical expert in the Pharma, CRO, or Biotech industry
