Medical Director, Psychiatrist

Medical Director leads inpatient psychiatric services, provides clinical oversight to psychiatrists and medical staff, chairs daily interdisciplinary treatment rounds, maintains an inpatient caseload including evaluations and crisis-stabilization planning, and ensures high-quality, trauma-informed, patient-centered care. Leads credentialing/privileging, participates in quality and safety committees (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS), and champions evidence-based pathways and documentation integrity. Requires MD or DO with psychiatry board certification, active state license, and DEA; 5+ years of clinical and leadership experience. This is a full-time leadership role within a fast-paced short-term acute psychiatric hospital.
