Medical Director Psychiatrist

Oversee and direct clinical care for in-patient clients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. Provide psychiatric clinical oversight ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices while leading the development of clinical protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery-focused care, educate patients and families, and serve as a liaison to regulatory bodies. Mentor clinical staff including medical assistants and nursing teams to foster a collaborative environment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Requires MD or DO degree, board certification, Georgia medical and DEA licenses, and minimum five years of in-patient psychiatric experience.
