Medical Director Physician

Medical Director responsibilities at SNFs focusing on H&Ps and regulatory visits, with oversight visits at ALFs in the territory, collaboration with Eventus WholeHealth doctors for MD-led oversight, and ensuring quality of care. Supervise NPs in the region, develop system-based approaches with facilities, participate in monthly primary care conference calls, coordinate with Audit team for standard of care and Medicare/Medicaid billing compliance, complete SNF admin duties (MD paperwork), attend QA meetings, and oversee regulatory visits (MD every other 60 days; NP every 30 days). Facility structure includes full-time NPs to manage acutes and follow-up plans of care, with physician presence for rounds and family interactions.
