Job Summary
Medical Director and Clinical Psychiatrist for DWIHN’s Direct Outpatient Clinics. Provides medical direction, supervision, and clinical care across outpatient behavioral health programs, overseeing treatment plans, quality of care, and coordination with treatment teams. Performs psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis intervention; leads clinical supervision of APPs, psychologists, nurses, and social workers; develops integrated care pathways and ensures compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards; engages in program development, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives; requires Michigan medical license, DEA registration, BLS, and remote clinic oversight as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited School of Medicine
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Preferred additional Board certification in Addiction psychiatry
