Job Summary
Lead our veterinary team as Medical Director at Ohana Pet Hospital, overseeing clinical operations across multiple locations (Agoura Hills focus) with a mission to provide compassionate care for pets. The role requires 5+ years of general practice and/or emergency experience, exceptional leadership, and strong client communication. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, maintaining high standards of medical quality and client service, guiding continuing education, and supporting a collaborative culture across general medicine, surgery, urgent care, and rehabilitation services. Must hold a valid California veterinary license and be able to obtain a DEA license. Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited college
- valid California veterinary license
- ability to obtain a DEA license
- leadership experience in a veterinary setting
- strong client communication and customer service skills

- teaching and mentorship ability
- experience with general medicine and surgery for dogs and cats
- experience with urgent care or emergency care is a plus
- ability to manage clinical operations and support staff
- compliance with AAHA standards
