Provide clinical oversight and strategic leadership for all cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical services, leading growth in thoracic oncology and lung nodule evaluation. Advance minimally invasive and robotic surgical capabilities across thoracic and cardiac procedures while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and adherence to national benchmarks, directing program development, expansion initiatives, and operational performance monitoring. Support research, academic engagement, and surgical education in partnership with GME and institutional leadership to strengthen market position and regional reputation through innovation and community engagement.
