Job Summary
Medical Director provides medical leadership and scientific exchange across Medical Affairs and related functions for obesity/diabetes-GLP-1 and related therapeutic areas. Responsibilities include contributing to PDP/EGP input, serving as the Medical Affairs representative on teams, reviewing trial outlines and ISS proposals, coordinating national advisory boards, planning and delivering clinical data presentations, developing medical education priorities, reviewing promotional materials, training field medical teams and sales, supporting HEOR and publications, and potentially chairing Core Medical Team. Requires MD/DO/PhD/PharmD with at least 5 years of clinical/research/pharma experience; remote work supported anywhere in the United States with 20-30% overnight travel expected; base compensation $250,000-$315,000 plus bonus and long-term incentives.
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO, PhD, or PharmD required
- minimum of 5 years of combined clinical, research or pharma experience
- experience in obesity therapeutic area strongly preferred
- strong strategic mindset and ability to oversee clinical trials and MA tools
- subspecialty training in relevant therapeutic area preferred
