Job Summary
Conduct rounds in medical and infirmary units, perform sick call visits, and manage chronic care while responding to medical emergencies. Lead efforts to evaluate healthcare quality, coordinate training activities, and supervise staff physicians. Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and court mandates, collaborating with professionals to meet patient needs. Maintain current DEA registration, BLS CPR certification, and Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine. Pass criminal background check and drug screening. Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Valid license as a physician in the state where the facility is located
- Possess a current DEA registration
- Currently certified in a Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Family or Internal Medicine
- Must pass the facility's criminal background check and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred)
