Job Summary
Medical Director Hospital Quality role at Capital Health overseeing hospital quality initiatives across our regional network. Leads collaboration among physicians, nurses and staff to uphold accreditation standards (DNV) and drive performance improvement, patient safety, and quality metrics. Partners with primary and specialty care teams to ensure high standards of care, supports CME and employee benefit programs, and contributes to strategy around compensation and organizational excellence. The position reflects a part-time schedule (20 hours/week) with eligibility for the full benefits package described. The posting emphasizes leadership in clinical governance and hospital administration within a multi-site system that includes two hospitals and an outpatient center.
Required Qualifications
- Physician license or eligible
- Leadership in hospital quality or patient safety preferred
- Experience in quality improvement initiatives beneficial
