Job Summary
Lead a team of five hospital medicine physicians by providing clinical oversight and building strong relationships with hospital partner leadership. Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered inpatient care in a small acute care setting with an open ICU and minimal subspecialty support. Manage ICU patients independently without intensivist backup, utilizing vent management skills while avoiding hands-on procedures. Work an average of 12 clinical shifts monthly under a flexible schedule designed for work-life balance and team coverage. Board-certified internal medicine physicians with one to two years of hospitalist experience and prior leadership are preferred. Annual compensation reaches $390K plus incentives, supported by a benefits package including paid malpractice, 401K matching, and annual CME allowance.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine
- Ability to manage ICU patients without intensivist back up
- Prefer at least 1-2 years of hospitalist experience
- Previous leadership experience
