Job Summary
Direct medical direction and supervision of participant care, clinical outcomes, and the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program. Develop and maintain medical policies, protocols, and treatment plans for frail older adults. Provide leadership to Primary Care Providers and APPs while participating in interdisciplinary team conferences and decision-making processes. Conduct physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and perform intake assessments for new participants and caregivers. Manage provider on-call rotation and travel within the region as needed. Requires Board Certification in Geriatrics or Internal Medicine, MD license, and CDS/DEA certification. Full-time, permanent role with 24-hour coverage and on-campus location.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with the frail or elderly population
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- MD license (or willing to obtain)
- CDS Certification (by time of start)
- DEA (by time of start)
- BLS (by time of start)
- Previous supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- Means of transportation
- Not accepting visa candidates
- Provider must be interested in Perm (not accepting Locums)
- Willingness to travel within the region periodically as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Board Certified in Geriatrics (Fellowship-trained) or Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine
- Clean Malpractice
