Job Summary
Medical Director role providing medical leadership and strategic guidance for cardiovascular therapies across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include serving as medical expert and patient advocate, leading benefit-risk assessment across development, clinical studies, and post-market activities; partnering with Clinical, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing and BD to support medical strategy; supervising clinical studies (protocol development, investigator engagement, patient safety monitoring, data interpretation, dissemination); supporting post-market surveillance and risk management; evaluating adverse events and device performance; collaborating with providers, investigators, and internal teams on safety concerns; representing company to regulatory authorities and professional societies; reviewing and approving medical and regulatory materials for accuracy and compliance; contributing to innovation, portfolio strategy and due diligence; supporting training and development of medical and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted Medical Doctor (MD) degree or accepted international equivalent
- Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology, or equivalent international certification
- Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine and in good standing with the applicable licensing authority
- Minimum 5 years of experience in independent Interventional Cardiology practice, including management of complex coronary, structural heart and advanced interventional procedures
