Job Summary
Medical Director for a brand-new veterinary hospital in the Brookwood area near Atlanta, overseeing hospital operations and a veterinary team. The role offers partnership in the practice, autonomy to practice medicine, collaboration with local specialists and ER/Specialty DVMs, and input into floor plan design and equipment ordering. Compensation is ProSal with relocation/housing assistance and a comprehensive benefits package (medical/vision/dental, 401(k), PTO and holidays, staff referral bonuses, and CE allowance). The hospital opening is anticipated by late 2025, with confidential inquiries welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- 3+ years of veterinary practice experience
- Experience leading a veterinary team or hospital
- Ability to design floor plans and order equipment
- ProSal compensation model familiarity
- Relocation assistance willingness
- Holds or pursuing veterinary leadership responsibilities
- Interest in partnership/ownership opportunities
- Strong communication and collaboration with local specialists and ER/Specialty DVMs
