Job Summary
Oversee six child and adolescent inpatient units and two day hospital programs, ensuring consistent, high-quality, evidence-based care across the continuum. Drive strategic development and clinical oversight of the service line while maintaining a direct patient care caseload. Align care delivery between inpatient and day hospital services, optimize operational and fiscal performance, and build strong relationships with referral sources. Mentor physician leaders and interdisciplinary teams to support innovative programming and service line strategies. This senior psychiatry leader role focuses on advancing person- and family-centered care within a physician-led organization dedicated to changing lives.
Required Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience in an acute psychiatric or behavioral health setting
- Experience leading care teams in an acute behavioral setting
- Experience working with children and adolescents in inpatient or partial hospitalization programs
- Active medical license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility)
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry, with additional certification or fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Maryland Controlled Substances Registration and valid DEA Certificate
- Completion of a psychiatry residency training program
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
