Job Summary
Lead clinical programs across ChesPenn Health Services; supervise clinical staff including nurse practitioners and physician assistants; ensure quality and continuity of care in ambulatory settings; develop and implement clinical policies and procedures; oversee enrollment and credentialing including admitting privileges; provide direct clinical medical services in a board-certified specialty; direct Quality Committee and other health-care committees; participate in grant writing and program development; manage after-hours and weekend coverage; collaborate with staff on strategic plans and annual Health Care Plan aligned with organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- completion of a residency in family medicine, internal medicine, or related specialty
- A Physician’s license to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania
- certified by an American Board of Medical Specialties recognized board with at least three years of clinical/supervisory experience with a primary care background
