Job Summary
Medical Director leading ER teams at VEG in Bridgeville, PA, with ownership over hospital medical excellence and staff development. Responsible for building a culture of collaboration between doctors and technicians, leading team meetings focused on medical quality and well-being, creating personalized development plans, heading patient safety initiatives, strategizing doctor recruitment and succession planning, partnering on market-level marketing, creating and maintaining doctor schedules, and ensuring regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local requirements. Required Qualifications
- A DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree
- 5+ years of traditional 24/7 ER experience and critical case management
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as needed basis based on hospital needs
