Job Summary
The Medical Director at Blue United Sourcing is responsible for providing outpatient primary medical services to enrolled patients at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic and supervising day-to-day medical care delivery. Key responsibilities include ensuring patient care plans are clinically adequate, providing leadership to the healthcare team, developing personal health plans, ensuring same-day access to care, and complying with various health regulations. Ideal candidates must possess a Doctorate in a relevant field, be board certified or eligible, and maintain current medical licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state where the CBOC is located
- Evidence of education, training, and experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Authorization for prescriptive authority
- Proof of annual TB clearance and current flu vaccination or declination
- Ability to pass a VA background check
Desired Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice
- BLS certification through the AHA or MTN
- Experience in Women's Health exams
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to be trained in and perform Women's Health exams
