Job Summary
Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient care to adult congenital heart disease patients across Phoenix Children's and Dignity-St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Lead the ACHD program with strategic oversight, quality improvement efforts, and innovation while maintaining ACHA Accredited Comprehensive Care Center standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans, teach medical students and fellows, and engage in statewide advocacy. Represent the program at institutional, regional, and national levels. This role supports the largest ACHD program in Arizona, which includes 26 cardiologists and 15 cardiac intensivists within an academic affiliation with the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board certified in Pediatric Cardiology (American Board of Pediatrics)
- Board certified in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (American Board of Internal Medicine)
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Arizona
- Demonstrated leadership experience or strong interest in medical directorship and program development
