Job Summary
Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient care to adult congenital heart disease patients at Phoenix Children's and Dignity-St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Lead the ACHD program with strategic oversight, develop individualized treatment plans with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain ACHA Accredited Comprehensive Care Center standards. Represent the program internally and externally at institutional, regional, and national levels. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows while participating in research initiatives and statewide advocacy efforts. Join the largest ACHD program in Arizona, supported by 26 cardiologists, 15 cardiac intensivists, and 3 cardiovascular surgeons. This role includes academic appointments within the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board certified in Pediatric Cardiology (American Board of Pediatrics)
- Board certified in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (American Board of Internal Medicine)
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Arizona
- Demonstrated leadership experience or strong interest in medical directorship and program development
