Job Summary
Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient care to adult congenital heart disease patients at Phoenix Children's and Dignity-St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans while serving as Medical Director for the ACHD program. Lead program growth initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and innovation in care delivery to maintain ACHA Accredited Comprehensive Care Center standards. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and support faculty development within the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix academic environment. Participate in ACHD-focused research initiatives and engage in statewide and national advocacy efforts.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board certified in Pediatric Cardiology (American Board of Pediatrics)
- Board certified in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (American Board of Internal Medicine)
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Arizona
- Demonstrated leadership experience or strong interest in medical directorship and program development
