Job Summary
Oversee the smooth operation of medical services at assigned CMS sites, including nursing, pharmacy, and provider staff. Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, order medications, and monitor responses while reviewing PDMP databases and serology results. Provide emergency triage, administer naloxone, and complete same-day clinical documentation in the electronic health record. Explain treatment plans and test results to patients, manage referrals, and deliver education on medication-assisted treatment and disease prevention. Maintain appointment schedules and adhere to CMS policy requirements and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a MD or DO in the state in the state(s) of employment
- Unrestricted DEA license
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a physician in substance use treatment or related behavioral health setting preferred
- Clinical experience in substance abuse rehabilitation and Opioid treatment preferred
