Job Summary

Recommend therapeutic diets based on patient nutritional needs and preferences, conducting assessments and care planning activities in consultation with physicians. Collaborate with the Medical Director, nurses, and facility administrators to maintain relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, vendors, and the community. Participate in monthly interdisciplinary patient care conferences and Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement activities to improve patient outcomes. Maintain a productive quality assurance program while helping with clinical and operational processes. Requires current RD/RDN certification, one year of clinical nutrition experience, and applicable state licensure. Full-time employees receive medical, pharmacy, dental, and life insurance benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification showing proof of registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration (includes Baccalaureate or Advanced degree)
  • Minimum of one-year experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian
  • Current Dietitian (LD/LDN) license in applicable state
  • State certification (Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist) required in CT and NY
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • proficiency in all company clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
