Job Summary
Setup and operate CNC machines in a state-of-the-art facility to manufacture precision medical device components. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints/engineering drawings, selecting tooling, adjusting machine offsets, performing first-piece in-process and final inspections, and maintaining tight tolerances with superior surface finishes. Candidate will troubleshoot machining issues, identify process improvements, and perform routine machine maintenance. Equipment commonly used includes Mazak Integrex 100/200 with lower turrets, Mazak Variaxis 5-Axis, Star Swiss-Type CNC Lathes, and other advanced multi-axis platforms. Preferred candidates have experience with Mazak Integrex, Mazak Variaxis, Star Swiss equipment, or Mazatrol; background in medical device, aerospace, defense, or other precision manufacturing is valued. Relocation assistance is offered; 1st shift premium and overtime opportunities are available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years CNC machining experience preferred
- Ability to independently setup and operate CNC equipment
- Blueprint reading proficiency
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Understand tooling offsets feeds speeds and machining fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
