Job Summary
MedSpeed is seeking a part-time Medical Driver/Logistics Service Representative in Columbus, OH, weekends only (Sat & Sun 7am-3pm) with a shift differential to $17/hr. Drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and hospital supplies; operate a handheld scanner; adhere to schedules; load/unload; conduct pre/post-trip inspections; demonstrate safe driving and professional interaction with clients; routes vary by client; collaborate with teammates; participate in background checks and drug screens; vaccination may be required by location; lift up to 50 pounds; walking/standing as needed. Must be 19+, have at least 3 years of driving history, and meet company requirements for dependability and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
- Demonstrated dependability and reliability
- Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Must have an excellent driving history
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to drive a non-commercial vehicle throughout the shift
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely
