Job Summary
Weekend Medical Driver role based in Knightdale, NC. Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, and related materials. Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, load/unload cargo, navigate routes, and maintain professional interaction with clients. Requires strong customer service, ability to follow procedures, and a valid driver’s license with 3 years’ experience. Weekend schedule includes Sat/Sun 2:00 PM–10:30 PM with a $1/hour weekend differential making $17/hour on weekends; base rate $16/hour. Shift differential applies to weekend shifts. Company provides training, benefits, 401(k), on-demand pay, PTO, and a company vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be able to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Must have an excellent driving history
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Must be able to drive a non-commercial vehicle and operate a company-owned vehicle safely
- Must be able to undergo criminal background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review
