Job Summary
Drive a company vehicle to safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials. Load and unload the vehicle with appropriate equipment while operating a hand-held scanning device to track items throughout the transportation cycle. Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain a clean and orderly vehicle, and demonstrate safe, courteous driving behavior while adhering to operating policies and service schedules. Work flexible part-time shifts including evenings and nights with consistent scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 19 years of age
- Active driver's license for 3 years
- Excellent driving history
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be comfortable with walking and standing for long periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant industry/driving experience is a plus
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
