Job Summary
Drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and hospital supplies along long-distance routes covering Santa Fe, Raton, Espanola, Los Alamos, and Farmington. Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items, conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, and load/unload cargo with appropriate equipment. Maintain a clean, neat vehicle, demonstrate safe driving behavior in varying weather, and adhere strictly to operating policies and service schedules. Present a professional image to clients while performing duties that may include lifting items up to 50 pounds and walking long distances. Work fixed schedules on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays with route assignments varying based on client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age
- Active driver's license for 3 years
- Must have an excellent driving history
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Must be able to handle varying item weights and physical demands
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must complete a drug screen
- Must complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) review
