Job Summary
Drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and hospital supplies while operating a hand-held scanning device to track items. Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, load and unload vehicles with equipment, and perform route duties that vary based on client needs. Maintain a professional image, demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior in varying weather conditions, and adhere strictly to operating policies and service schedules. Complete required background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle record reviews as conditions of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must be 19 years of age
- Active driver's license for 3 years
- Demonstrated dependability and reliability
- Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely
- Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Must have an excellent driving history
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must complete a drug screen
- Must complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) review
