Job Summary
Drive a company vehicle to safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials. Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections while maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle. Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment, demonstrating safe and courteous driving behavior across various roads and weather conditions. Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules, adapting to route changes based on client and business needs. Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction, while building and nurturing a collaborative team culture with teammates and clients.
Required Qualifications
- 19 years of age
- active driver's license for 3 years
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Must have an excellent driving history
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must complete a drug screen
- Must complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) review
