Job Summary
Drive a company vehicle to safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and hospital supplies across various routes. Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections. Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment while maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly interior. Adhere strictly to operating policies, procedures, and service schedules, presenting a professional image to clients and the public. Demonstrate safe, courteous driving behavior and adapt to changing route assignments based on client needs. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM at $16.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must be 19 years of age
- Active driver's license for 3 years
- Demonstrated dependability and reliability
- Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely
- Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Must have an excellent driving history
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must complete a drug screen
- Must complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) review
