Job Summary
Drive a company vehicle to safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials throughout the day. Load and unload the vehicle using appropriate equipment while operating a hand-held scanning device to track items. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle. Observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules while demonstrating safe, courteous driving behavior. Work Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM with fixed schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 19 years of age
- Active driver's license for 3 years
- Excellent driving history
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be comfortable with walking and standing for long periods of time
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must complete a drug screen
- Must complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) review
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant industry/driving experience is a plus
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
