Job Summary
Drive a company vehicle to safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, hospital supplies, and interoffice mail across varying routes and weather conditions. Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle while strictly observing operating policies and service schedules. Load and unload vehicles with equipment up to 50 pounds, conduct pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain a clean, orderly vehicle. Demonstrate safe, courteous driving behavior and professional interactions with clients and teammates. Work flexible shifts between 8am and 10pm with consistent scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- 19 years of age
- active driver's license for 3 years
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Must have an excellent driving history
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Must be able to handle varying item weights and physical demands
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must complete a drug screen
- Must complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) review
