Job Summary
Pick up blood samples and specimens from doctors' offices and clinics, delivering them to labs per dispatcher instructions. Also collect pharmaceuticals for nursing homes and clinics, utilizing color-coded bags and proper coolers to ensure patient safety. Handle on-demand pickups for samples or specimens outside your normal route while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. This role requires a flexible driver living in Birmingham, AL, with a valid license, reliable vehicle, and color vision, working late evening weekday shifts starting at 4:00 PM. Weekly settlements apply based on route performance.
Required Qualifications
- Must live in Birmingham, AL or a surrounding area.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a fully functioning smartphone.
- Must have a reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
- Must be able to differentiate colors for coding purposes.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must maintain professionalism in all settings and keep a clean appearance.
- Must be attentive to details.
