Job Summary
Transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and hospital supplies in a company vehicle while operating a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle. Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment, conduct pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain a clean, neat interior. Demonstrate safe, courteous driving behavior across varying weather conditions while navigating routes that change based on client needs. Present a professional image to clients and adhere strictly to operating policies and service schedules. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and walk long distances as required. Work Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 4pm at a fixed schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must be 19 years of age
- Active driver's license for 3 years
- Demonstrated dependability and reliability
- Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely
- Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Must have an excellent driving history
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must complete a drug screen
- Must complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) review
