Job Summary
The Customer Service Specialist position acts as the receptionist for the Program and provides routine clerical and administrative support. Responsibilities include answering phones, triaging callers, logging data, assisting with initial registration and data entry, aiding in billing/audit data collection, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, overseeing office equipment, maintaining petty cash, filing, organizing and confidential document handling, stocking supplies, and performing related duties. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree preferred) and at least 1 year of clerical/office experience. Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities, and the ability to pass background checks and state-required de-escalation training are essential. Shift: Rotating 7:00AM–7:30PM; Location: Crisis - Franklin County Crisis Care Center, Columbus, OH; Salary: $18.00-$21.00/hour. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of clerical or office experience required
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication both verbally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy
- Works cooperatively in a team environment
- Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements
