Medical Courier/Specimen Courier

Laboratory Driver / Specimen Courier responsible for the safe and timely transportation of laboratory specimens, supplies, reports, and related materials between client locations, physician offices, outreach accounts, hospitals, and the laboratory. Must maintain specimen integrity, follow HIPAA and laboratory transportation regulations, and provide professional customer service. Shift 10:00am-6:30pm; responsibilities include picking up and delivering specimens, maintaining proper handling and storage, completing transport logs and chain-of-custody forms, communicating with laboratory staff and providers, performing vehicle inspections, and upholding patient confidentiality and safety policies.
