Job Summary
Transport pharmaceuticals, medical instruments, and specimens while maintaining proper chain of custody via manual manifests or mobile apps. Execute timely pickups and deliveries across assigned routes, reporting any issues to dispatch immediately. Maintain a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance; keep the vehicle and phone operational. Adhere to confidentiality rules, customer policies, and company standards while performing in-person service. Work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends in all weather conditions. Own vehicle required with clean MVR.
Required Qualifications
- Trained on transporting various parcel types, including pharmaceuticals, medical instruments and supplies, mail, documents, and specimen types (i.e., room temperature, frozen, and refrigerated)
- Knowledgeable in pharmaceuticals, medical instruments and supplies, mail, documents, and specimen types (i.e., room temperature, frozen, and refrigerated)
- Trained and must understand Confidentiality Rules and Regulations
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Maintain declaration pages of insurance
- Maintain vehicle registration
- Maintain a vehicle in good working condition
- Maintain a phone in good working condition
- Be clean and well-groomed
- Keep proper hygiene
- Be drug-free at all times
- Work in all weather conditions
- Work late into the night
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to walk
- Be able to drive
- Be 21 years of age
- Have a Valid Driver's License for 3 years
- Have a Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Own a vehicle with valid registration and auto insurance that meets company requirements
- Pass background requirements
- Pass health requirements
- Pass drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Professional driving experience (couriers, delivery routes, etc)
- General knowledge of the local area (roads, shortcuts, etc)
