Job Summary
As a Substance Abuse Counselor at New Season Treatment Centers, provide individual, group, and/or family counseling to patients with Opioid Use Disorder as part of a collaborative treatment team. Document patient progress, educate patients on treatment and recovery steps, and support overall patient well-being. Early morning hours support work-life balance; comprehensive benefits include medical/dental/vision, life, disability, and reimbursement for education/licensing. Related experience in the substance abuse field is preferred but not required. Location: Gulfport, MS.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in mental health or intellectual/development disabilities, or a related field
- professional license or DMH credential as a Mental Health Therapist, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Therapist or Addictions Therapist (PCAT, CAT, PMHT, MHT)
