Job Summary
Schedule all client medical appointments, including annual, follow-up, and emergency visits, in compliance with state mandated licensing regulations. Monitor and track clients' physical care status through paperwork and follow-ups, providing accurate documentation of appointments in appropriate records. Communicate with medical professionals, supervisors, and program directors regarding client status. Attend pertinent medical appointments to achieve the best results for individuals receiving supports. Cooperate with license and department staff during any inspections, inquiries, or investigations. This part-time role requires a valid driver's license, completion of state and agency training, and the ability to remain calm in crisis situations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
- Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
