Job Summary
Schedule all client medical appointments, including annual, follow-up, and emergency visits, in compliance with state mandated licensing regulations. Monitor client status through paperwork and documentation, providing accurate records of physical care and appointment outcomes. Communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and medical professionals regarding clients' status and attend pertinent appointments to achieve the best results. Cooperate with license and department staff during any inspections, inquiries, or investigations. This role requires a valid driver's license, completion of state and agency training, and the ability to exercise good judgment in crisis situations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
- Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
