Job Summary
Schedule all client medical appointments, including annual, follow-up, and emergency visits, in compliance with state mandated licensing regulations. Monitor and track client physical care status through paperwork and follow-up appointments, providing accurate documentation of all medical interactions in appropriate records. Communicate regularly with supervisors, co-workers, and medical professionals regarding client status to ensure needs are met within appropriate time frames. Attend pertinent medical appointments to achieve the best results for individuals receiving supports. Cooperate with license and department staff during any inspections, inquiries, or investigations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
- Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
