Job Summary
Medical Coordinator needed in the Health Services Department to support daily administrative and clinical operations for pediatric care. Responsibilities include orientation and training of RNs/LPNs/Medical Coordinators, medication administration, first aid, routine sick-child care, physician-ordered care, and referral for treatment; manage documentation in computer databases; coordinate dietary needs with Food Services; ensure immunization practices; conduct HIV risk assessments, intake assessments, triage, and routine health screenings; support chronic conditions management (diabetes, asthma); provide health education including reproductive health; supervise emotional/psychiatric support; establish treatment goals with the multidisciplinary team; arrange/escort children to medical appointments; schedule Sunday-Thursday 2pm-10pm with on-call duties; benefits include competitive package and generous PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid RN license in good standing
- Must possess a High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be First Aid and CPR Certified.
- Must have nursing experience.
