Job Summary
Prepare consult sheets for appointments and review them immediately upon return to the facility. Submit Literal Text changes and medication orders to ChemRx by the 15th of each month to ensure accurate medication records. Coordinate documentation completion with RNs, managers, and physicians while organizing consent for treatment processes. Review the Medication Administration Record daily to prepare new monthly MARs and document any medication errors on occurrence reports. Attend weekly medical meetings and quarterly, annual, or semi-annual clinical team meetings for ICF and IRA populations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Associate degree
- Minimum 2-year experience working with developmentally disabled population
- OPWDD population experience
- Residential setting experience
- 1-2 years solid supervisory experience working with similar population
- AMAP certification
- SCIP certification
- CPR certification
- Ability to physically restrain challenging behaviors
- Ability to apply proper lifting techniques
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant medical certifications
- Agreement to obtain certification within 90 days of position appointment
