Medical Collections Officer for Occupational Health Testing

Job Summary

Collect urine samples from individuals undergoing occupational health testing while adhering to strict protocols for accuracy and infection control. Conduct medical examinations including hearing, visual, alcohol, and colour blindness tests, alongside basic observations. Ensure proper labelling, storage, and transport of all samples to the laboratory, maintaining detailed records of collection dates, times, and identification details. Provide professional customer service during interactions and stay current with regulatory guidelines for privacy and confidentiality. Availability required for approximately two days per week, with training sessions in Doncaster and online modules. Based in Manchester, Birmingham, South and Central Yorkshire, Doncaster, Newcastle, or Portsmouth.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of FREC 3 or FAW
  • Proof of rights to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS with online registration or certificate for non-Update system dated within the last year
  • Company or UTR or NI Number Proof
  • Certificate of qualification
  • Manchester
  • Birmingham
  • South and Central Yorkshire
  • Doncaster
  • Newcastle
  • Portsmouth
  • Approximately 2 days a week availability
  • Availability to attend online training on the week commencing on the 4th March
  • Availability to attend Physical training in Doncaster on the 11th March
