Medical Collections Officer for Occupational Health Testing

Job Summary

Collect urine samples from individuals undergoing occupational health testing while adhering to strict protocols for accuracy and infection control. Conduct medical examinations including hearing, visual, alcohol, and colour blind tests, and ensure all samples are properly labelled, stored, and transported to the laboratory. Maintain detailed records of collection data and individual identification details to track samples and preserve confidentiality. Provide professional customer service during interactions and stay current with relevant regulatory guidelines for occupational health standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of FREC 3 or FAW
  • Proof of rights to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS with online registration or certificate for non-Update system dated within the last year
  • Company or UTR or NI Number Proof
  • Certificate of qualification
  • Approximately 2 days a week availability (week)
  • Availability to attend online training on the week commencing on the 4th March and Physical training in Doncaster on the 11th March
