Job Summary
We are looking to hire an experienced Medical Coder with active coding certifications and robust domain expertise in CPT and ICD coding. The role involves assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures, ensuring correctness in accordance with regulations, and communicating with clinical staff regarding documentation. Candidates should have an educational background of any graduate degree, 3 to 7 years of experience in medical coding, and must possess knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Required Qualifications
- Active coding certifications (CPC / CPC-A / CIC / CCS / COC)
- 3 to 7 Years’ experience in Medical Coding
- Successful completion of a certification program from AHIMA or AAPC
- Skilled in assigning ICD-10 & CPT codes
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently
